How to Shift Away from Fat Loss Coaching
How to Shift Away From Fat Loss Coaching In Your Fitness Business ✨
For the last 5 years I have not sold or coached fat loss.
At some point it became not possible for me. Not something that aligned within my value system.
A personal choice and hard line at this time.
To be crystal clear, I have no judgements if you are coaching fat loss or wanting fat loss.
One of my clients could make the choice for themselves to want to lose fat or weight. And I will not be available to provide the specific coaching on the things they need to do for that goal.
At the roots of this? I realized how unsafe this was for ME.
I’ve had a complicated relationship with my body since I was 8 years old, including an eating disorder and over-exercising.
I need to be extremely cognizant of the ways in which I’m thinking about food and movement.
I am often asked by other fitness and health professionals how they too can make this pivot in their fitness business.
Mostly, what I want us all to trust in: it is possible to have a ‘successful’ (relative and individual to each) fitness coaching business without coaching weight loss.
The idea that this could not be possible is keeping us all stuck. Coaches and customers.
