Because parenting is far from perfect, isn’t it?
Pregnancy and postpartum are challenging.
Career hiatuses. A new body. New identity. And, peeing when you laugh too hard (yep!)
And sometimes? It’s losing your identity in the middle of GIVING SO MUCH TO SO MANY.
The truth is, all you want to do is give your mind and body the same TLC you give your little ones, so you can FINALLY feel like a renewed version of yourself.
Because you want to feel like MORE than only someone’s care taker, don’t you?
(Yes, please!)

You’re a powerful person with a right to a HEALTH-FULL and JOY-FILLED LIFE.
How do I know? Because I’m a mom who feels just like you, trying to find more understanding of WHO I AM through this adventure. I use fitness and movement that put my joy and well-being at the center of my healing.
I’m Jessie Mundell, Head Coach here at JessieMundell.com, and I’m a specialist in all things pregnancy and postpartum exercise, birth recovery, strength training and how to help you stop peeing when you sneeze.
(By the way, “TMI” isn’t in my vocabulary. It went out the window with my “perfect parent” rule book long ago!)
I’ve devoted my career to studying and coaching prenatal and postnatal exercise, starting with a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Physical Education, and a Masters in Kinesiology. I’m grateful to be a go-to support system for folks who want fitness to strengthen and heal, while building a renewed body mindset that gives pregnant and postpartum people the tools to re-define one’s relationship with their body and their worth.
But, I didn’t always approach health and fitness this way. When I first started working with parents years ago at a pre/postnatal gym, I fell into the same problematic philosophies that so many health and fitness coaches still do to this day.
I focused on helping parents “fix” their bodies, get back to their “pre-pregnancy size,” instead of empowering folks in the body they inhabited post-pregnancy.
A body that was just as CAPABLE now as it was before, but that simply needed a little extra love and support.
