How do I know? Because I’m a mom just like you who found her way back to her strength, using a fitness plan that put my joy and well-being at the center of my healing. I’m Jessie Mundell, mama-in-charge at JessieMundell.com, and I’m an expert in all things diapers, sleepless nights, and sneezing so hard you pee yourself.

(By the way, “TMI” isn’t in my vocabulary. It went out the window with my “perfect parent” rule book long ago!)

I’m also an expert in prenatal and postnatal exercise with a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Physical Education, and a Masters in Kinesiology. I’m a mom’s go-to support system for fitness that works to strengthen and heal them, while building a confidence that gives pregnant and postpartum people the tools to re-define one’s relationship with their body and their worth.

But, I didn’t always approach health and fitness this way. When I first started working with moms years ago at a pre/postnatal gym, I fell into the same problematic philosophies that so many health and fitness coaches still do to this day. I focused on helping moms “fix” their bodies, get back to their “pre-pregnancy bods,” instead of empowering womxn in the body they inhabited post-pregnancy. A body that was just as CAPABLE now as it was before, but that simply needed a little extra love and support.
