Up on the blog today is an interview I did with my friend Sarah Garton. Sarah is a health professional and woman whom I really respect and we happen to come from similar places of thought.

She lives in the UK and owns a very cool company called, The School of Balance. Sarah’s philosophy is about stressing less and living more. LOVE.

PLUS, she has the best accent that’s worth listening to in itself 😉 She also interviewed two other gals on other pregnancy and postnatal topics, including improving your health for conception and a fellow pre/postnatal exercise specialist.

Sarah and I chatted about all things postnatal exercise. Here’s what you’ll find in the video:

0-1min: What I do and who I work with.

1-4min: What the pelvic floor is, what are “common” vs. “normal” pelvic floor symptoms.

4-6min: What pelvic floor exercises you should be doing, why see a pelvic floor physio?

6-11min: What Diastasis Recti is, how do we know when it’s healed?

11-14min: How to start healing the core, good exercises vs. not-so-good exercises to do postpartum.

14-17min: Postnatal nutrition tips.

17-18min: Is it ever too late to start healing your core?

18-19min: Where to find me (Ps. I forgot to mention that I work with people directly in-person, in Calgary :)).

19-21min: Quick Q’s.

Have a listen and let me know if you have any more questions at all.
