Abdominal Soreness with Postpartum Running
A fantastic reader question being answered in this post!
A mama recently returned to postpartum running. She is experiencing abdominal soreness in the days after her runs. Is this normal? Is this a sign of core and pelvic floor dysfunction? What can she do differently!
My thoughts in the video below!
My 10-week, online course called, the Postnatal Fitness Specialist Academy, is currently open for registration until Monday, April 23rd.
This program is for current and aspiring fitness and health professionals (and enthusiasts) who want to help moms return to effective exercise post-pregnancy, recover from C-section and vaginal births, treat core and pelvic floor dysfunction, and support them in motherhood.
I give this running mom a few things to consider during her runs and what she might do before and after running.
