I’m Jessie, your fitness guide and the start of your support system at To Pregnancy & Beyond! I have a handful of degrees that have helped to make me a specialist in prenatal and postnatal exercise, and I’ve helped thousands of moms receive the fitness TLC they deserve. I’m focused on effective exercise during pregnancy and postpartum, rehab of the core and pelvic floor for moms, postpartum and C-section recovery, teaching women how to eat and exercise effortlessly, and having women feel incredible in their bodies.

Frequently Asked Questions

You probably have a lot of questions. Here are all the answers.

What’s the commitment look like for this program? Do I need any special equipment?

Most of our TP&B members are working out 2-3 times per week, doing strength training focused sessions. You will need various dumbbells (at least a ‘lighter’ and a ‘heavier’ set), resistance bands (at least a ‘lighter’ and a ‘heavier’ band), a bench or sturdy chair. Everything else we can modify if need be for home workouts! If you are working out at a commercial gym, you’ll be set. 

If I just gave birth when should I start?

As soon as 2-3 weeks after birth! Most moms, whether they’ve had a vaginal birth or a cesarean, can start an appropriate fitness routine as soon as 2-3 weeks after childbirth. Of course, always check with your doctor to make sure that your OK’d for this start date.

I’m a busy mom. Are the workouts long?

This course is MADE for moms with full schedules! The strength training workouts typically take 30 minutes maximum, and the (optional) interval training workouts take 15 minutes maximum. I make sure to keep this easy, accessible, and manageable because I GET how hard the parent life is, TRUST ME.

Is this program safe for pelvic organ prolapse?

Yes! The programming is designed for people with prolapse to be able to strength train and challenge themselves optimally, without ramping up POP symptoms. The beauty of To Pregnancy & Beyond is that we can have constant communication in the private Facebook coaching group to modify for your body and needs, too. 

Can I still do this program if I had my baby 2, 5, 10 years ago?

You bet! We’d love to have you. If you have been strength training and exercising consistently, please let us know on the consultation form after you register. We can start you at more challenging workouts, if required. 

Can I use this simultaneously with another workout program?

I wouldn’t recommend it. With To Pregnancy & Beyond, you could be strength training 2-4 days per week and doing interval training on 1-2 days per week, so this will be enough moderate to intense exercise.
